As the days grow cooler and the air becomes dry, the Metal Element invites us to breathe deeply, let go of what no longer serves us, and gather our energy inwards. When this energy is balanced, we feel calm, clear, and resilient. When it’s depleted, we may feel tired, heavy, or weighed down by sadness or unresolved emotion.
Rooted in the wisdom of Chinese medicine, this workshop helps you align with the Metal Element to move through autumn with greater clarity, vitality, and ease. Join Tania for a day of learning, reflection, and gentle movement as we align with the calm, inward energy of autumn. Together, we’ll explore how to support the Lungs and Large Intestine—the organs of the Metal Element—through breath, nourishment, and emotional balance.
- Support Lung Qi & Immunity – explore how breath, movement, and seasonal foods strengthen your body’s natural defences and sustain energy through autumn.
- Let Go & Breathe Deeply – explore breathwork and Qigong practices to release tension, calm the nervous system, and open the chest.
- Understand the Emotion of Autumn – discover how grief, sadness, and reflection are part of the Metal Element, and how to find balance through joy and connection.
- Nourish the Body – learn about autumn’s best foods and teas for lung health and digestion, including the benefits of pumpkin, pears, and lily bulbs.
- Soothe Dryness & Strengthen Skin – explore natural ways to keep the body hydrated and protected as the air cools and dries.
