Unlike the other elements, Earth doesn’t belong to just one season. It is the stable ground beneath every seasonal transition — and it sustains us all year round.
Rooted in the wisdom of Chinese medicine, this workshop explores how food becomes medicine when chosen, prepared, and eaten in harmony with the body’s needs. You’ll learn how to support your digestion, stabilise your energy, and cultivate emotional ease through the art of nourishment — using flavours, cooking methods, the body clock, and simple practices that restore your inner balance.

This Workshop
Join Tania for a day of learning, reflection, and gentle movement as we explore the art of nourishment through the Earth element in Chinese medicine. Together, we’ll look at how to strengthen digestion, stabilise energy, and cultivate emotional harmony so you can feel centred and well-supported in daily life.
- Understand Your Centre — explore the role of the digestive system as the foundation of energy, clarity, and emotional steadiness, and learn how to support them through food preparation, meal timing, and mindful eating.
- Flow with the Body Clock — discover why the morning hours (7–11 am) are the most powerful time for digestion and focus, and how aligning with these rhythms can improve energy, concentration, and overall well-being.
- Nourish Your Energy — learn practical Food as Medicine principles, from warming and cooling foods to cooking methods, the five flavours, and how to choose meals that truly support your unique constitution.
- Soothe Worry & Overthinking — understand worry as the emotion of the Earth element and explore simple practices to return to centre, calm the mind, and restore emotional balance.
- Harmonise Digestion — discover how to reduce bloating, cravings, or heaviness by working with food energetics, flavours, temperatures, and the sweet taste in its nourishing (not sugar-based) form.
- Taste the Wisdom — enjoy seasonal tasters and learn how simple, grounding recipes—such as congee variations and naturally sweet vegetables—can build energy and support clarity.
- Practice Grounding Qigong — experience gentle, centring movement to support digestion, clear stagnation, release worry, and reconnect with your inner stability.
